Beowulf The Movie
The following videos are from D block today. Complete a scene from Beowulf in 32 sec. Given the short time they had to do these, great job! I know that I said that I would post the best one, but they were all fun to watch....so here they are:

Today we finished Act 1, sc3.
I broke you into 5 groups and gave you small skits to introduce the themes in the play.
I passed back a bunch of stuff. Progress reports this week.

Soph Lit:
We looked at the CH titles in the novel Lord of the Flies.
We looked at the lyrics for Shadows and Tall Trees, and discussed how the book may have inspired a young 17 year old punk Irish kid named Bono.
You each needed to come up with a new CH title for chapters 1-7 and 1-3 sent. as to why the title was chosen.
We reviewed the themes and symbols so far.
